Today, we caught a couple of fifth graders voluntarily taking their lunch with Mr. Harrison so they could continue working on their projects. Three students were working on a bridge challenge. One student explained, "We get $12,500 fake dollars to build a bridge that holds the most hot wheels cars. We have to use our resources." Another student continued on a map project she was excited to work on. FMS fifth graders are definitely committed to learning!

Students at PSS have been visited this week by the Franklin Fire Department for Fire Prevention Week. The students learned a great deal about fire prevention and safety. The highlight was the "touch a truck" part of the lesson. A big thank you to the members of the Franklin Fire Department for creating a wonderful learning experience for PSS students.
