Today's featured STAR is Mackenna Trudel! Mackenna is a sophomore and an officer for the FHS Players. Mackenna has been performing on stage since she was in elementary school (K), participating in the District Wide Musicals and then doing theater throughout middle and high school. Mackenna has also performed numerous times with Franklin Footlight Theatre including playing Young Amy in Little Women, and recently performing in Puffs and their Christmas Show. Mackenna earned an All Star Acting Award this past March with New Hampshire Educational Theatre Guild with Franklin's one act production, and was Sally in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown this past fall. Mackenna has also been dancing and taking dance since she was in 3rd grade. Her favorite hobbies are to be dancing or doing theater. Recently, Mackenna was nominated for National Honor Society and was the student representative during the first round of interviews for the School of Excellence when Franklin began the process. She went with a team of adults to meet with the committee and speak on behalf of her school. Mackenna isn't fully sure what her future holds at this time, but she will figure it out! For now, she's enjoying being a teenager and doing what she loves! Don't miss seeing her perform in Clue on June 4-6 at the FMS Stage at 8 pm!
