Dear Franklin Families,
I am reaching out to let you know that I have been informed of a positive case of a staff member at Franklin Middle School. The contact tracing has been conducted and notifications have been completed.
Additionally, food service will be delivering double meals tomorrow just in case the predicted snow for Monday night into Tuesday impacts their ability to deliver meals Tuesday morning.
Sincerely,

Our last theme of Kindness Week is Self-Care.
This year especially it is so important to be kind to yourself and take some extra time to focus on prioritizing you. As all of you put your hearts and souls into our students this year, we hope that you take some of that time and energy to put it back into yourselves. Going into this weekend, set a goal to do something just for you. This is a great opportunity to share ideas and personality interests with your students to encourage them to shut off screens and give all of ourselves some much needed self-love.

Good Morning FMS Families
Please be reminded that there will be no classes Friday, January 15 and Monday, January 18 for a Teacher Workshop and to observe Martin Luther King Civil Rights Day.
On another note, there were fire drills yesterday and today and it has come to my attention some Remote Students on Zoom were not informed of the pause in instruction. From this point forward I will send out a broadcast email to students and parents while we are on a drill. Sorry for the confusion.
Have a great extended weekend!
Mr. D
