National Teacher Appreciation Week this year is May 4-8. Last year we collected notes of appreciation from families and students about our teachers and staff. It was such a success, we'd like to do it again. We will print out notes and give them to the designated staff member as well as post them on our socials. Submit as many as you want.

Mark your calendars!

FRANKLIN FELLOW - NOAH HEBERT!
We are both honored and excited to announce that Noah is Franklin Middle School's FIRST ever Franklin Fellow! Noah has earned and received awards for ALL SIX of the Portrait of a Franklin Graduate Commitments in the same school year. To receive an award, you must be nominated by a teacher or staff member who witnesses you performing an act that falls under one of the six pillar categories. The six pillars are: Humanity, Resourcefulness, Wellness, Responsibility, Community and Learning. We couldn't be more proud of you! Congratulations, Noah!

Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Our Tattoo A Teacher fundraiser event was not only a huge success but the kids had a BLAST tatting up the teacher of their choice! Mr. LeGallo and Officer Pops joined our fun and received their tattoos!

Every year Brenda Petelle and the Food Service Department are asked questions about preparing and cooking a turkey. Here a couple of things to consider....
Remember to give enough time to thaw a frozen turkey in the fridge, or else you'll be cooking it for an extra long time!
Check the temperature before you eat! 165 degrees is the goal.
