Good afternoon Franklin Families. We have completed our contact tracing on our case at the middle school and have had to quarantine some members of our food service staff. Because of this, we will be temporarily closing our window service at the middle school and our service to students at the rec. department starting tomorrow. We will still be running our bus deliveries using the morning bus run and serving students in person at the 3 schools. I apologize for this disruption in service and expect to be back to fully operational after the Thanksgiving break.

I am reaching out to you to let you know that a staff member at the middle school has tested positive for Covid-19 today. We are conducting contact tracing and will keep you updated. As you know, we are already fully remote for Monday in the district.

Today we had 30% of the senior class participate in, “I Applied Day”! They submitted their Common Applications for college! Congrats to Hannah Fife-Huckins who was selected as the winner for a college scholarship for participating.

We have just sent out a one question district survey regarding Thanksgiving travel and would appreciate your response. I also wanted to remind you that there is no school on Wednesday for Veteran’s Day. There will be double food delivery and pick up tomorrow and no meal delivery or pickup on Wednesday.

Due to low ticket sales and the safety of our performers, we are cancelling the scheduled Nov. 7 matinee for Midsummer Jersey. We still have a show on Friday and Saturday night (Nov. 6 and 7) at 7:30 pm and Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 pm.

A reminder that there is no school tomorrow for students. There will be no meal deliveries or pickups tomorrow as well. Meal deliveries and pickups will resume on Wednesday.

Attention Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Quarter 2 grades close next week on Friday, November 13th. Please check Alma for current grades and review Google Classrooms for work owed. Please reach out to our teachers if you need assistance.
Remember there is no school tomorrow 11/3 for Teacher Workshop and 11/11 in observance of Veterans Day.
